Young Opportunity Leaders Organization (YOLO)

Deadline: Sep 5

Eligibility: Canada (Grade 11 and 12)

Description:

YOLO is not your typical “youth development” program. It’s a 12-week experience built for ambitious high school students ready to level up—in leadership, confidence, and real-world skills.

Through interactive workshops, mentorship, guest speakers, and team projects, you’ll explore what it means to lead—starting with yourself and growing outward.

Whether you want to speak with confidence, build your personal brand, lead projects that actually matter, or simply feel more sure of yourself as you take your next big steps—YOLO is for you.

Skills You’ll Cultivate

  • Self-Leadership: Clarify your goals, boost your confidence, and take ownership of your direction.
Communication That Lands: Build presence, speak with confidence, and tell your story in a way that resonates.

  • People & Influence Skills: Learn how to build trust, make strong first impressions, and lead with empathy.

  • Personal Brand & Career Readiness: From resumes to networking to showing up online, get real-world tools to stand out.

  • Time, Energy & Initiative: Learn how to manage yourself, stay motivated, and lead even without a title.

  • Project Execution: Plan, design, and deliver a team project that reflects your leadership in action.

  • Mentorship & Growth Mindset: Have honest conversations with mentors, explore your path, and reflect on who you're becoming.

Final Showcase: Present your leadership journey, and celebrate how far you’ve come.
